THOMASTON, ME: Thomaston Place Auction Galleries’ division, Thomaston Light, will conduct an online auction of fine & folk art, jewelry, militaria, interiors and more, Wednesday, May 24, at 10 a.m.
This auction includes large selections of one-of-a-kind custom American furniture, basketry, folk art, fur coats, ethnic artifacts & antiquities, militaria, art glass, interior décor, and a multitude of fascinating treasures for any growing collection.
There will also be a wide range of fine art, including artists from Maine and the east coast. Noteworthy artists include Dahlov Ipcar, Ronald Frontin, Dorr Bothwell, Armand Tibbetts, Eloisa Schwab, Andrew Shunney, as well as many others.
For all locals who are seeking timeless furniture, carpets and fine art that provokes refinement and personality, our selection of rugs, antique lighting and timeless furniture would be fit for that aesthetic.
Wouldn’t you rather have a Chippendale table or a mahogany desk that lasts forever? In today’s economy, you can save hundreds by going vintage, rather than wasting thousands of dollars on factory-made, dormitory grade furniture.

What better way to add individuality to your home, office or storefront with items that truly bring history, conversation, and Maine pride than vintage furniture?
Items can be viewed online now; participants can register and place pre-auction (or absentee) bids any time prior to 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 24. Registrants can bid on items as they come up for sale.
To view the catalog, register and bid, visit www.live.thomastonauction.com, or visit LiveAuctioneers.com or Invaluable.com to view lots, register, and bid on those sites. All participants must register before bidding. Buyer’s premium is 25% for online bidding, 20% for phone and absentee.
