“Breakers Jazz” is the featured “Afternoon Under the Tent” band at the “World-Famous” Sail, Power and Steam Museum on Sunday, August 21, 4:30 PM. Admission to the concert is free. The museum is located on Rockland’s working waterfront at 75 Mechanic Street, next to the Snow Marine Park.
Breakers Jazz plays popular standards of the Big Band Era and make-you-want-to-dance classics of pop, rock and roll! Breakers Jazz is an annual attraction of the Rockport Masonic Summer Concert Series, has performed for the Rockland Summer Solstice, Belfast Street Festival, the Maine Lobster Festival and has headlined several engagements at the Boothbay Opera House. Breakers’ previous concert was a sold-out celebration for Graffam Bros. 75th Anniversary at the Rockport Opera House. Breakers Jazz is the break-out jazz group of Baywinds North Wind Ensemble.
